Business Summary

Short Bark and Sides is an established dog grooming business in London. The owner has a social media presence on Facebook and wanted to differentiate from other groomers by adding web presence, optimised for google search (SEO) to showcase over 20 specialised grooming services to drive additional bookings.

The project went live quickly and in week one leads from the website started to arrive. Followed by many more!

  • Ability for visitors to make enquiries from the website with notifications to a mobile app for easy follow up by the team.
  • Build a database of contacts (CRM) for newsletter and offers and promotions
  • Initially a lead generating website not a e-commerce or booking platform.

A non technical business orientated approach to understand the way the business works and preferred outcomes were discussed with the client and askcraft.

As the client wanted an easy to use website, a wordpress design was proposed that also connected to HubSpot as a contact management system (CMS) to take care of managing the lead to enquiry process, with on page chatbot workflow and workflow for follow up email marketing.

The site design included performance, security, speed and search engine optimisation (SEO).

The process for enquiries from the 24/7 chat and contact form was documented and delivered as part of the project.
